Due to DVDFab Passkey Lite, you can rely on your favorite program to watch the decrypted movie and even rip or clone it, in case you want to backup the movie onto another disc. The software utility can completely decrypt the discs protected with RC, RCE, APS, and UOPs. On the other hand, you still watch DVDs that come with ARccOS or RipGuard protection, but you cannot copy them. You can use the application to decrypt most types of protection such as AACS V10, RC, BD-Live, and UOPs, yet AACS V12+, BDAV, or AVCREC for Blu-ray are not available, so you need to upgrade your app if you want to watch movies with these types of protections. After you install DVDFab Passkey, you can specify the type of edition you want to test, and the Lite one is the single one that can be used for as long as you want, yet it does include reduced functions compared to DVDFab Passkey for DVD or to DVDFab Passkey for Blu-ray.
